Demolition started a couple of days ago on unit 5 Eastleigh Works, we have been keeping in line with our approved planning application and have even reduced the working hours in the knowledge that our neighbours are currently working from home and with an effort to avoid disruption.
Unfortunately due to the need to separate the metal and rubble before it is removed from site the works have been disruptive to our neighbours which we apologise for and will try to mitigate this for the remaining 2 days of works. For the avoidance of doubt there will be no scrubbing up of the concrete. We aim to retain the building slab and will only be making the ground safe after the demolition has completed.
